It grows and grows... Quo Vadis is now recognised as one of the leading events in the wind industry calendar.

In its third year Quo Vadis went to Gatwick and some 80 people from all over the globe attended. windpower renewable solutions Limited was delighted to be offered by Germanischer Lloyd and Moventas to be the two main sponsors of the event. Some 50+ attended the pre-event dinner on Monday evening including Maria McCaffery, CEO of the BWEA (now RenewableUK).

Tuesday got off to a great start with Quo Vadis officially being opened by the Shadow Energy Minister Charles Hendry MP; he gave a very in-depth prospect of the Conservative Party’s views and aims regarding renewables. The day then continued with presentations from experts from many fields of the industry including a very unusual and eye-catching performance by David Moss, Sales Manager from Moventas Oy.

It was clear from the comments on the day and also from the feedback received after the event that this forum is needed and needs to remain in the same format: being only for owners and operators.

windpower renewable solutions Limited is expecting that the numbers of delegates will increase to around 100 eventually. "We do not want Quo Vadis to get too big. It is personal, great for engineers and asset managers to network during the breakout periods. We always make the agenda as informative and exciting as we can." Kevin Donovan comments.
